Gross Motor Skills

Using gross motor skills involves using our whole body so arms, legs and feet are involved in one complete movement. Babies love to crawl and children enjoy walking, running and jumping. However, the presence of high or low muscle tone, sedinatry lifestyles and genuine difficulties with co-ordination, balance, motor planning and co-ordination can hamper the development of this skill for some children. Here, we've popped together some fun physical activities that will bring on gross motor skill development.
