The Vikings Snap and Matching Pairs Card Deck
This game has been developed to help with the study of how British society was shaped by the movement and settlement of different civilisations with a particular focus on the struggle for the Kingdom of England during the period leading up to the Norman Conquest. It is a great resource offering a fun but an in-depth study of how British society was affected by Viking settlement. It includes information about weapons, clothes, ships, viking gods and much more.
How to play snap:
To play snap, all you have to do is match the cards together.
How to play matching pairs:
In order to play pairs, simply turn all the cards upside down. Then turn two over at a time to see if they match. If they do then you keep them, if not you turn them back face down with the aim to collect all the cards.

Number of players: 1 or 2 if turn taking is managed well.
