ARK's Buddy Bite™ Chewable Stick Figure – Available in Three Colour-Coded Toughness Levels

ARK's Buddy Bite™ Chewable Stick Figure is an oral motor chew tool made from chewy but resilient material. The extensions are long enough to reach the back molars. The loops are firmer and provide more resistance for chewing on both sides of the mouth at the same time.

This type of chew tool can be used as an oral fidget toy or as a tool to help calm, soothe and self-regulate a child's thoughts during times of stress. It is a safe alternative to biting fingernails, knuckles and chewing shirts, pencils and pens. It can help to improve focus during homework and classroom tasks. It is particularly favoured by children with Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD or those who need a high level of sensory input.

Technical Information - ARK's Buddy Bite™ measures 6 ½” (16cm) long, 3 ¼” (8cm) at its widest part and just under ½” (1.2cm) thick. The surface of the Buddy Bite is smooth.

Please note – As this is a larger chew, you may want to "size down" a toughness level. For example, if you use a Grabber or Y-Chew in XT, you may want the Standard level in the Buddy Bite.

Important note about choosing the correct colour

Red - Standard - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not generally chew through anything). It is also suitable for individuals with low oral tone, or those with limited jaw strength who are just learning to bite and chew

Lime Green - Medium XT - This is the middle level, which is called XT ("Xtra Tough"). It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers

Royal Blue - Very Firm XXT - This is the toughest level, which is called XXT ("Xtra Xtra Tough"). It still has some “chewability” to it, but it’s fairly rigid / pretty firm. No chew tool is indestructible, but this is usually the longest lasting level for avid chewers

Note -This product is not a toy. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear and tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item starts to show signs of wear and tear
