ARK's Spoon Tip attachments turn any Z-Vibe into the ultimate sensory feeding tool! The size, shape, and shallow bowl of the spoon tip allows for easy feeding. The Z-Spoon's smooth vibration gently "wakes up" the mouth and increases awareness. The Z-Spoon provides oral motor stimulation to the lips, tongue, cheeks, and jaw. It is an essential tool for any sensory mealtime treatment plan

Technical Information

The Z-Spoon's design features a lightweight, plastic handle with gentle bumps around its circumference for a non-slip grip. This texture can also be brushed along the cheeks, arms, hands, etc. for additional tactile input. The handle comes with a Yellow Smooth Firm Spoon Tip on one end and a Switch Tip on the other. The Spoon Tip included is recommended for infants and toddlers up to approximately 3 years old. Textured or larger Spoon Tips are available to purchase separately.

The handle measures approximately 16cm long and 1cm in diameter

Safety Information

The Z-spoon is NOT a toy. It is a therapeutic tool intended to be used by a professional therapist (or by parents trained by their therapist). It contains small parts (including a battery) that may pose a choking hazard - direct adult supervision is required at all times. To turn the unit on, twist the Switch Tip into the handle *just* until it starts to vibrate (please do not over tighten). Please note that the battery is a special Z-Vibe battery, not sold in stores. The handle can be wiped clean with a disinfecting spray. The oral tips can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the top rack of a dishwasher.
