The Mixed Pencil Grip Starter Set is designed to aid correct pencil grip development. It is a great kit for use at home, school or when working with an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.

This set of grips encourages the fingers to form the tripod grasp, which is considered to be the most effective grasp for handwriting activities. They offer comfort and control, allowing the user to write for longer.

Contents and Features of the Mixed Pencil Grip Starter Set –

• 1 x Crossover Grip – Features unique “wings” to stop the fingers and thumb from crossing over
• 1 x Stubbi (Mini) Grip – A firm plastic grip for precise finger and thumb positioning
• 1 x Claw Grip (Medium) – A soft grip with three cups to hold the fingers and thumb in place
• 1 x Triangular Grip – Gently reminds the fingers to hold the tripod grasp position
• 1 x Ultra Grip – A moulded comfort grip, offering control for extended writing tasks and reducing hand fatigue
• 1 x Ridge Foam Grip – A textured comfort grip for proprioceptive feedback
• Suitable for both right and left-handed users– place your thumb on the “L” or “R” as needed
• Suitable for individuals of all abilities, but especially those with Autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, dyspraxia, hypermobility, arthritis, and fine motor skills issues
• Fits on most standard pencils and pens

Size – Various, will fit most standard pens and pencils

Please note – Pencil Grips are designed to be a snug fit so that they do not move around once in place. A tiny amount of talc, Vaseline or vegetable oil may be required to “ease” the grip onto the pen or pencil. Pencil Grips fit standard pencils and pens. They do not fit large-barrelled, chunky or triangular pens or pencils. Not recommended for children under three years old as small parts may represent a choking hazard. Adult supervision is recommended. Pencils and pens are not included, they are for illustrative purposes only.
